Using Reporting Tools
A variety of reporting and notification tools are available for auditing, performance monitoring, troubleshooting and other uses.
Report Types
Reports are available for Imprivata platform, Imprivata OneSign, and Imprivata Confirm ID actions.
- User reports provide information about user activity, Administrator activity, logins, lockouts, and enrollment over a period you define.
- Application reports show you when application credentials are captured, proxied for user access, or changed, and when custom screens open if their audit flag has been set.
- Computer reports provide information about computer activity and suspensions of the Fingerprint Identification licensed feature.
- The VASCO OTP Token Activity report provides information about the activities of a specific VASCO OTP token.
In addition to the reports, you can be automatically notified of many events by email, or you can have the notification posted to a URL or to the appliance system log. Event notifications are described in Configuring Event Notifications.
Adding a New Report

- In the Imprivata Admin Console, go to the Reports menu > Add new report.
- Select the type of report you want to generate.
- A report form is displayed with a report type description, a field for the object of the report (User, Application, or Computer) and a pair of Date Range fields.
- If you want to save or export the results of the report, then enter a name for the report.
- Use the filters provided to limit the report data as needed. You can report on all users, filter users by domain or Organizational Units (OU), or select a single user.
- Enter the dates you require for this report. This is not required for all reports.

You can save reports with particular parameters to run them again at a later time.
To save a report, follow the steps in Adding a New Report, but click Save instead of Run. You can view your saved reports by going to Reports > Saved reports.
Exporting Report Data to a CSV file
You can export report data to a CSV file for use in common spreadsheet applications. To export a report as a CSV file:
- Run the report.
- Click Save and Export. The Export Report page opens.
- Click Save.
NOTE: No more than 65,000 records can be exported to a local CSV file. However, there is no limit to the number that can be exported via FTP.
